वाणप्रस्थ पुनरुत्थान यज्ञ

वैदिक ग्रंथों में आश्रम प्रणाली को बहुत अच्छी तरह से परिभाषित किया गया है। वानप्रस्थ आश्रम जीवन का वह चरण है, जब व्यक्ति अपने निकटतम परिवार के प्रति कर्तव्यों को मूलतः पूरा कर चुका होता है और उसमें समाज को देने की इच्छा पैदा होने लगती है। कई लोगों के साथ मेरी चर्चा में, गिव-बैक [देने की प्रवृत्ति ] के विचार की पुष्टि हुई है।

पिछले कुछ सहस्राब्दियों से, लोगों को मुफ्त चीजें पसंद हैं। कड़ी मेहनत तथा (समाज के लिए किए गए) बलिदान के मूल्य में कमी आई है।  सामान्य रूप से मानव की गरिमा गिरी है। वास्तव में, समाज इस तरह की सोंच को स्वीकारने लगा है। अच्छे लोग किनारे कर दिए गए हैं या हो गए हैं और उन्हें "बेहरा भला अदमी" माना जाता है।

किसी भी बड़े समूह में, 80+% लोग अनुयायी होते हैं, शेष 20-% में, यदि 12+% बुरे इरादों के साथ मुखर हैं, तो मौन बहुमत इनका अनुसरण करता है और ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि 92+% लोग बुरे हैं और केवल एक छोटा वर्ग (8-%) हीं अच्छे लोग हैं।

मानवीय मूल्य संक्रामक है। इसलिए भारतीय समाज में सत्संग को बहुत महत्त्व दिया जाता है। यह मेरा विश्वास है कि यदि 2+% मुखर बुरे लोग मुखर अच्छे में बदल जाते हैं या 5+% मौन बहुमत लोग मुखर अच्छे में बदल जाते हैं, तो समाज अच्छाई की ओर चल पड़ेगी ।

“वाणप्रस्थ पुनरुत्थान यज्ञ” का उद्देश्य मुखर अच्छे लोगों की तादाद मुखर बुरे लोगों की तुलना में अधिक करना है। इसके लिए, हम अच्छे  लोगों को समाज में सक्रिय भूमिका में वापस लाना चाहते हैं ताकि मूक 80+ % लोग इनका अनुकरण करे, नाकि बुरे लोगों का।

Vaanprasth Revival Yagna

Ashram system has been very well defined in Vedic texts.  Vaanprasth ashram is the phase in life, when one has mostly fulfilled duties towards immediate family and develops desires to give-back. In my discussion with many people, this attitude to give-back has been confirmed.

Over past few millenniums, people like free things. Value for hard work, sacrifices made for society has reduced and in general human dignity has deteriorated. In fact, society has started accepting such attitude as matter of fact. Good people have become marginalized and are considered “bechara bhala admi” [बेचारा भला आदमी].

In any large group of people, 80+ % are followers, of the remaining 20- %, if 12% or more are vocal with bad intentions, the silent majority follows these and it appears that 92+ % people are bad and only small percentage, 8- % are good i.e. बेचारा भला आदमी.

Human values are infectious and hence value of Satsang [सत्संग] in Indian psych. It is my belief that if 2+ % of vocal bad people convert to be vocal good or 5+% of silent majority becomes vocal good, the tide will turn and society as a whole would become good.

The aim of the "Vamprastha Revival Yagna" [वाणप्रस्थ पुनरुत्थान यज्ञ] is to increase the number of outspoken good people compared to outspoken bad ones. For this, we want to bring good people back to an active role in society so that silent majority, 80+% of people follow them, instead of bad ones.
